Bull Riding

I think my family's move to Tallahassee is turning them into country folk. Now bull riding?! My brother decided to join his Bible study group in this crazy venture (the leader of the group, Jason, used to be a rodeo cowboy and, apparently, still has connections)

Wow, be careful this summer. It seems the country folk effect takes hold rather quickly. Though perhaps going to D.C. for the institute will innoculate you.

Hey, I'm just replying to what ya said on my xanga blog. I don't agree with you that attacking someone on a forum like this is out of place, since there is really no place to have a real conversatin about this, although this topic has been one of discussion among many and really is talked about all the time (not just about Jeremiah though, about the things happening at PHC in general and different branches of it) but I do agree that attacking some one may hurt their feelings, but one must just get over it, because it's life. Life's not just going to be an easy ride, you're going to have some trouble with it, and getting somthing told to you that may or may not be true is going to happen, and we just need to suck it up and go on with life. So when people 'hurt our feelings' we need to get over it. For example: Dr. Root, Bates, Noe, Stacey, and Culberson were all deeply insulted by mainly Mike Feris and others saying many things that were not true and flat out lying about them and when Dr. Stacey said any thing about it to students he got fired (thanks to your friend Jeremiah), but what did they do? They aren't crying for their mommy, are they? Sure they went to the press about it when they were asked, but they're just fine! And it didn't mess up their jobs or anything else, because they all have jobs for next year lined up, it's Mike that it really hurt, because of all of this half of the full time faculty aren't comming back and half of the part time faculty aren't comming back and more will probably leave next year, and Mike has not filled ONE of their spots, all he's done is waste his money and hire a full time choral derector for no good reason! but oh well, LIFE'S NOT AN EASY RIDE! ~Elizabeth C.

My comment was only in defense of Jeremiah's character in response to Michael's comment. It was in no way a response to your post. It had nothing to do with school politics or the leaving profs. It said nothing of my position on school politics so I don't know how you could respond with what you did. I can say the position you were responding to is one I don't hold. There is a place where the disagreement between Michael and Jeremiah could have been taken and that was personal e-mail or phone. Since I don't think infighting is healthy, your comment isn't a response to anything I would hold, and has nothing to do with my original comment on your blog, I don't plan to respond.
